Terms of Service
Armenly is free, takes no payment and shows no ads, and you can use all of it without an account.
What Armenly is
A free app for finding Armenian music. Songs play in YouTube’s own player, so a play here counts for the artist. Armenly does not host, store or upload any music or video, and nothing here can be downloaded — it is a catalog and a player over what others already publish.
Armenly is not monetised: no advertising, no subscription, no payment of any kind. Nobody earns anything from a song being reachable here.
Using it
By using Armenly you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Copyright policy. The app, its design, its name and the catalog stay ours. The music does not: recordings, artwork and artist names belong to their owners.
Armenly is not for children under 13, or older where the law where you live sets a higher age.
Your account, if you make one
You do not need one. Everything works without an account. An account does one thing: it keeps your playlists, settings and history somewhere other than the device you built them on.
Signing in is a passkey on your device, or a code we email you. There is no password. You are responsible for the address you use, since anyone who can read that inbox can sign in as you. Close your account any time from Settings, which deletes our copy immediately.
Acceptable use
Please do not use Armenly for any of this:
- Circumventing region locks, rate limits or any other protection
- Scraping or bulk-downloading the catalog
- Recording, copying or redistributing anything you play here
- Reselling or sublicensing any part of the service
- Reverse engineering the app, beyond what the law allows anyway
- Attacking or overloading the service, or using Armenly to break the law
Playlists you share
A playlist stays on your device until you share it. Sharing publishes a snapshot — its name, description and song list — behind a link anyone holding it can open, so keep anything private out of it. You give us a licence to host that snapshot while the link stands, and we can remove one at any time.
Other services
Armenly is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Spotify, or any artist or label in the catalog, and none of them endorse it. Using Armenly means using their services too, so their terms apply to you as well. If one of them changes what it serves, parts of Armenly stop working.
No promises
Armenly is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The catalog is built automatically and what plays depends on YouTube, so nothing here is guaranteed to be accurate or working.
Any part of it may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time. We may block access if the service is being misused.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Armenly and anyone involved in making it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid to use Armenly, which is nothing — or one United States dollar (USD 1) where a law insists on a figure. Where a law does not allow these limits, they apply as far as it permits and no further.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Armenly and anyone involved in making it against any claim, loss or cost — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the service, anything you publish through it, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
Governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and any dispute belongs to the courts there. Nothing here removes a consumer protection that the law where you live gives you.
The rest
- If a clause here is unenforceable, the rest still stands
- Not enforcing something straight away is not giving it up
- These terms, with the Privacy and Copyright policies, are the whole agreement between us
- We may transfer our rights if Armenly changes hands
- They may change, and using Armenly after that means you accept the new version
